Oldham’s housing services have moved and have a new name.

From 1 July 2019, The Oldham Housing Advice Service (OHAS) will be known as Housing Options and will no longer be based at First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) on Union Street.

If you need access to the following services:

Housing advice, Homelessness, Applying for social housing; tenancy Relations Service; Central Access Point (CAP) for supported housing then please contact us via our new details:

For those that need to visit in person, the new Housing Options Service based in Access Oldham will be open at the following times:

Monday and Tuesday: 8.40am to 5.00pm
Wednesday: 9.30am to 5.00pm
Thursday and Friday: 8.40am to 5.00pm

If you are worried about someone you’ve seen sleeping rough in Oldham, you can alert the Council by emailing housingoptions@fcho.co.uk. Tel no 0161 770 4605 by calling 0800 988 7061 out of hours

Rochdale

If you are worried about someone you’ve seen sleeping rough in Rochdale, you can alert the Council and Rochdale’s Rough Sleeper Outreach Service Call: 0300 303 8548 between 9.30am to 3.00pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday or between 1.00pm to 3.00pm on Wednesday and Thursdays or 0300 303 8875 or out of hours. Street Link

If you are concerned about someone over the age of 18 that you have seen sleeping rough in England or Wales, you can use the website to send an alert to StreetLink. The details you provide are sent to the local authority or outreach service for the area in which you have seen the person, to help them find the individual and connect them to support. It is important to note that if you think the person you are concerned about is under 18 please do not contact StreetLink but instead call the police. StreetLink telephone number can get busy so wherever possible we advise people to use either our website or mobile app, but if you cannot access the internet you can also get in touch via our phone line on 0300 500 0914.
